Firefighter Pride in Epoxy Flooring

So why do they do it? Why do firefighters risk their lives, running into buildings just as everyone else is running out? It starts with a strong desire to serve. But from there, the answers are as diverse as the thousands of men and women on the job. Whatever brings them to their vocation, these everyday heroes deserve our thanks and gratitude!

Understandably firefighter company pride is strong and that extends to the place where they live and work. Company members spend a good part of their busy day in their firehouse bays conducting daily training drills, maintaining their apparatus and equipment, and restocking supplies. So it makes sense that they want their facility’s concrete epoxy floors to be functional, safe and easy to clean.

Luckily, Florock has a broad range of firehouse flooring systems to meet their needs. All are chemically resistant to AFF foam, vehicle fluids and tire stains. And Florock even offers industrial flooring that withstands the occasional firehose end or other equipment being dragged or dropped.

As a family-owned company that’s been manufacturing in the U.S. for over 50 years, Florock stands behind its floor coating products and service. It’s no wonder so many firehouses, just like Chief Nichols at the Fort Gratiot, MI, Fire Department, choose Florock for their apparatus bay epoxy floors.

This is one of the best products for vehicle facilities because it stays glossy and is resistant to fuel & oil. It is even resistant to tire staining.

When I was a kid I really liked going into the neighborhood Firehouse. I always wondered how they got those floors so shiney? Now I know, it's Florock.
